Meet Bro. John Stone: historian, adventurer, collector, and your guide through the remarkable story of Freemasonry. With the mysterious Quintessence Gem, Stone can open portals into pivotal moments of the past, allowing us to witness the people, places, and events that helped shape the Craft.

While Bro. Stone is our fictional guide, the history explored here is rooted in real people, documented events, and the ongoing evolution of Freemasonry. Each portal invites you to step into a different era and discover how the traditions we recognize today came to be.

Bro. John Stone is also the first character in Pillars of Power, The Winding Stairs' retro-inspired collectible action figure series. His journey begins here. As you explore this timeline, you will uncover the historical world, symbols, and spirit that inspire his adventures.

Take the Adventure Home

Pillars of Power is a line of retro collectible action figures by The Winding Stairs — heroes of the Craft, sculpted and carded in the glorious style of 1980s toy aisles. Vintage-style blister packaging, painted cardback art, and heavyweight nostalgia, made by Freemasons for Freemasons and collectors alike.

The first wave stars your time-travel guide himself: Bro. John Stone, Master Mason and lodge historian, complete with black suit and Craftsman apron. The Founders Bundle pairs two carded action figures with a First Wave collector print inspired by vintage comic covers — a limited first-run collector's edition.

If this journey through Masonic history made you smile, the collection is how you take a piece of it home — and how you keep adventures like this one coming.
