Unlocking Divinity
Unlocking Divinity is an artwork inspired by mankind’s unwavering efforts to connect with The Grand Architect of The Universe. As we encounter the grandeur of its creation, we ponder on the nature of the divine.
This ink, chalk, and charcoal drawing features symbols from Freemasonry, Hermeticism, and Science. Three disciplines that aid us in understanding the Universe.
The Two Brazen Pillars, flank an array of symbols inspired by life, death, and our connection to The Creator.
This piece was inspired by the Masonic lecture by Bro. Juan Sepulveda titled “Correspondence with the Divine”. The lecture explores the principle of Correspondence in the Hermetic tradition and its connection to Freemasonry. Originally written for the Florida College of S.R.I.C.F. It was adapted to be presented at Spes Novum Lodge No. 1183, a Premier Masonic Education Lodge in the state of Illinois. The original drawing was donated to this fine institution. Now you can own a piece of this story and further explore your Correspondence with the Divine.
