Unlocking Knowledge
"Unlocking Knowledge" is the first work created from the pages of a more than century-old Masonic volume titled A Library of Freemasonry Illustrated.
The book had suffered water damage, staining, and deterioration beyond restoration. A Brother entrusted it to me with the hope that it might be given a second life. Rather than allowing it to fade into obscurity, I began drawing directly onto its surviving pages.
Each work in this series was created one page at a time. I would read the text before me and respond visually to the ideas it inspired.
This first piece brings together symbols of mortality, mystery, and illumination:
A skull and skeleton key.
A keyhole revealing deeper understanding.
An open book.
The Square and Compasses.
The Sun and Moon.
The Flower of Life.
The original printed words remain largely legible beneath the drawing, creating a layered dialogue between past and present. Ancient mystery meets modern reflection. Tradition meets personal transformation.
The result is not simply an illustration, but a reclamation. A damaged volume restored through art and intention.
For the Mason who understands that knowledge is never accidental. It must be unlocked.

Tracking is provided for every order.
Unframed prints are wrapped in protective tissue and packaged securely in reinforced tubes or boxes depending on the order size. Framed artwork is carefully packed with upgraded protective materials to ensure safe delivery.
Returns may be requested within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in original condition. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, we will make it right.
